'Rescuing the Weak' by Anne Perreault

This is the third book in ‘The Cooper Family’. Several things that I felt was from the same series of the two other books. One thing was keeping the same type of design as the other two, by which I mean the top has the main character(s), the middle has the title and the blurry divider behind it. Then the bottom has the object that it is about. For this book it is about braking free, for the last book Dangerous Relations it was about navy jets. Because of this I placed a pair of chained hands who’s bonds had been snapped. Mrs. Anne and I had both talked before and she had told me that one of the things that she was the main character’s eyes. In the book she is Chinese with amber eyes and Mrs. Anne wanted that to be one of the main focus point of the cover. For this part I changed the eye color and brightness by using the paint brush and adjustment layers of curves to make it look natural.

I also kept the same type of design on the back and spine as the other two books in the series, just changing the colors and some photos. The color scheme is complementary with dark blue and a medium brown. Dark blue helps set the mood of dark and a dangerous past. The end of all of the I put a medal texture on the color mode of ‘Overlay’.
