Hello my name is Natasha Perreault
Natasha Perreault had always excelled at art. She was home schooled from fourth grade until she graduated in 2013 and was able to hone in her artistic side because of this. As a child Natasha was inspired by the artistic people around her in her life and decided that she would become a great artist. Even though her first drawings were lacking she kept on practicing until she became great at pencil drawings. She then took some private painting lessons and learned about how to paint with acrylics. From 2008 to 2010 she had the pleasure of taking art classes at the New Britain Museum of American Art in New Britain, Connecticut.
After Natasha graduated high school she found out that she did not want to make her talent of art into a job. Because she loved creating drawings, Natasha was afraid that if she would start to do art jobs she would lose her passion for it. It wasn’t until her mother, Anne Perreault who was a new author, coerced her into making Anne’s first book cover that Natasha found out about graphic design. Sure she heard about it but never gave this line of art any thought.
But after Natasha created the first book cover she was hooked. It wasn’t long before she decided to start to invest in this line of work. She continued making book covers for Anne Perreault (you can find Anne Perreault’s website at intothelightfiction.weebly.com) while doing online studies at Sessions College for Professional Graphic Design. It was there that she got her Graphic Design Certification in the following courses: Color Theory, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Typography, Graphic Design 1, Design and Composition, and History of Graphic Design. She also did a Concentrated course on Advanced Illustrator, Advanced Photoshop, and Advanced Typography.
